Bob McCormack is the managing principal and founder of VR Mergers and Acquisitions in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. As managing principal, he brings significant merger and acquisition experience to the role. Previously, Bob served as president and chief executive officer of Sun Bancorp, Inc., a diversified financial services holding company with approximately $1 billion in assets. During his leadership at Sun, Bob negotiated numerous acquisitions of banks and other financial services companies, to grow the company’s asset size, geographic reach, revenue streams and diversify its products and services. In addition, he negotiated several divestitures. Bob has attained the designation of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is Accredited by the Institute of Business Appraisers (AIBA).
